Toi Te Ora Public Health (Bay of Plenty District Health Board):
Toi Te Ora Public Health (Toi Te Ora) is funded by the Ministry of Health and is the public health unit for the Bay of Plenty and Lakes District Health Boards. ‘Toi Te Ora’ suggests the idea of enduring wellbeing. ‘Toi’ is the name of a celebrated ancestor in the Eastern Bay of Plenty and ‘Ora’ is to be alive, well and healthy.
SmartGrowth provides a unified vision, direction and voice for the future of the western Bay of Plenty as we help develop a great place to live, learn, work and play. Taking into account a range of environmental, social, economic and cultural matters, the strategy identifies opportunities for building our community.
Priority One is the Western Bay of Plenty region’s economic development organisation, established in 2001 by the Tauranga and Western Bay Of Plenty business community in partnership with the sub-region’s local authorities.
