Child Poverty Action Group

The local CPAG is an open group and anyone is welcome to attend and participate.

The vision of the national Child Poverty Action Group vision is an Aotearoa where all children flourish free from poverty.   Following a meeting with the national Child Poverty Action Group, SociaLink asked the social sector if they were interested in establishing a local Child Poverty Action Group (CPAG).  There was a lot of support for this.  The group have met twice and have identified 3 priorities for 2021.

The local CPAG is an open group and anyone is welcome to attend and participate.  The group aims to extend Child Poverty Action Group’s outreach and provide the opportunity to raise the visibility and profile of the kaupapa and key messages.  SociaLink and the national CPAG are providing support to the running of the group.
