Why SociaLink Opposes the Move-on Orders Amendment Bill

SociaLink has made a submission opposing the Summary Offences (Move-on Orders) Amendment Bill, arguing that rough sleeping and begging should be met with compassion and practical support, not punitive measures that fail to address the underlying causes of homelessness.

Protecting Our Community: Why SociaLink is Opposing Changes to Alcohol Licensing Laws

SociaLink has submitted its response to the Government’s proposed alcohol regulations. While we support low-alcohol options, we strongly oppose changes that increase alcohol availability and silence community voices by restricting rights of objection. The Neurodiversity Services Directory has been updated, providing a valuable resource for people working in the social, health and education sectors. Originally developed by SociaLink and Spectrum Collective Takiwātanga, the directory helps connect neurodivergent people and their whānau with services and support across the Western Bay of Plenty.
