CI collates data sources on topics relevant to the social sector. We link these on our website, so you can find and access them. If you still can’t find what you’re looking for, talk to us; we usually know where to look to find the information you need.
CI works 1-1 with groups to help you enhance your data processes and systems. We can map your current data collection processes and suggest ways to enhance and improve processes, tools and systems.
CI can support groups to collate information from a range of sources about topics of interest. Collaborative data projects can create new grassroots insights about what is happening in our communities.
Community Insights (CI) provides support to local community, tangata whenua and social service organisations in the western BOP to build confidence, skills and trust in using data to inform and enhance their work. This may be accessing publicly available data and information or helping consolidate the information organisations collect and collate about their own work to evidence their impact.

Why:
More and more community organisations are being asked to evidence their impact. We can help your group to identify and access relevant information about community needs and issues and provide expertise on how to best capture, collate and report on data about the work you do and the communities you serve. In addition, we are from the sector ourselves, so we speak your language and understand the needs and issues impacting your work.

Any not-for-profit or for-purpose organisation operating in the Western Bay of Plenty.
Cost:
FREE Almost all of our services are free of charge. We do some “bigger” commissioned projects for groups on request.
