Tō Mātou Tīma - Our Team

I try to live my life as passionately as possible in all that I do- whether that is through work, relationships, or play. My biggest passions at the moment are the ocean, growing my own food, listening to podcasts, and community development.I love listening to people's stories and am studying to become a death doula as another way to serve and honor the people in my closest communities.

Operations Support
Ko wai au?

I am originally from Denver, Colorado in the States but have lived in Aotearoa for 11 years and all of those in Tauranga. I grew up in the Rocky Mountains so knew that I wanted to settle somewhere here by the ocean once I made the move. I like to be outside whether just for a walk or something more active like stand up paddle boarding, mountain biking, or roller skating! I am an animal lover who used to manage a kennel and cattery and dream of one day owning my own funny farm full of rescued animals.

Experience & Expertise:

My background is in operations and relationship management which I have utilised in many different industries making me a bit of a jack-of-all-trades! I love working in the non-profit sector and have spent over a decade doing community development work (most of which was done with Habitat for Humanity all around the world!) whether through my job or hands on volunteering. I love supporting people in their roles and helping organisations run more smoothly and efficiently.

What I DO:

Supporting our team to support our kaupapa and you! I offer operational support across the whole organisation which tends to look a bit different every day. I can be found assisting with events, board meetings, bringing together reports and presentations, and many other things that help SociaLink support the community.
