SociaLink’s Submission on Pay Equity

SociaLink has made a detailed submission to the People’s Select Committee expressing strong opposition to the Pay Equity Amendment Act 2025. The Act, passed under urgency without public consultation, threatens progress on fair pay for wāhine in the social and community sector. Our submission highlights the serious impact on undervalued roles and calls for a fair, properly funded pay equity process.
