Yes, for-purpose organisations including social ventures and groups that aren’t yet formalised and are committed to making a difference in the Western Bay of Plenty region can contact us for approval.
If we have available resources we can offer additional 10 or 20-hour blocks.
This resource is specifically for projects and is not meant to replace a regular staff member.
We will need some time from you to ensure that we understand the work required and possibly ask questions. However, the service provider is a senior-level person and does not require immediate supervision.

SociaLink Operational Support (SOS) is a subsidised programme designed to create a shared operations support resource for organisations in the social and community sectors.
By providing organisations with a high-skilled, vetted and reliable resource more can be done with less cost and overheads.

Based on research, many organisations struggle to get operational tasks completed due to a lack of resources and cost.
Sharing a resource makes it less expensive and more efficient for organisations to get operational projects done. Instead of each organisation advertising, vetting and contracting a resource for a short-term project, SociaLink has been funded to provide this resource at a subsidised cost.

Any not-for-profit or for-purpose organisation operating in the Western Bay of Plenty.
Cost:
Purchase 10-20 hours of service
$20-40/hour, depending on the average annual expenditure of your organisation.

Jana’s marketing services through SociaLink were a real encouragement for a not-for-profit always having to be thrifty with all external spending.
