Alongside my social work experience, I hold a ‘Leading Beyond Sustainability’ micro-credential. I’m especially interested in sustainability that centres people, communities, and the environment. That’s why the group volunteering role really spoke to me — it’s all about meaningful connection and collective impact.

I’m originally from South East London, but Aotearoa has been home since 2011. After a few years in Auckland, I moved to Tauranga and was quickly drawn in by the ocean, the community vibe and the people. My whānau and I now live in Papamoa.
I’ve been a Social Worker for over 16 years, working across government, health, and the charity sector — including with Canteen. I’m passionate about helping others, supporting community, and creating spaces for people to thrive.
Social work and community support
Sustainability in people and systems
Building relationships across sectors
Project coordination
As Group Volunteering Coordinator, I help build connections between:
Businesses, clubs, schools and groups wanting to volunteer
For-purpose organisations needing support with one-off projects
People passionate about teamwork, community and making a difference
Let’s grow a culture of group volunteering that benefits everyone involved — the volunteers, the groups, and the community.
