SociaLink has made a submission on the Local Government (Systems Improvements) Amendment Bill, urging the retention of the four aspects of community wellbeing in local government planning. Removing these pillars – social, economic, environmental, and cultural wellbeing – would narrow councils’ focus and limit their ability to build strong, connected, and resilient communities.
