We are currently seeking two people to join our team, one in a Governance role and the other in an Organisational Adviser role.
Tangata Tiriti Trustee
This vacancy on the Board is for the Tangata Tiriti or non-Māori caucus. You would be joining six other Trustees who bring a wealth of experience in governance, te Ao Māori, the for-purpose sector, strategy and finances. The Board meets six to seven times a year for two hours, plus 30 minutes for kai and whakawhanaungatanga or relationship building prior to the hui.

Organisational Advisor
This role is to work alongside community organisations across the Western Bay of Plenty, offering confidential, practical one-on-one advice and guidance on governance, management, operations, setting up new entities, strategy, policy and procedures, people/volunteer management and more.
- Build the capability of organisations by offering guidance and resources on everything related to the running of community organisation e.g. governance, management, operations
- Assist in setting up a new legal entity for groups
- Provide clear recommendations, action plans, resources, and referrals to help them grow
- Offer ongoing or one-off support in person and online
- Track and report outcomes each month to show the impact of your work
- Engage and share insights with funders
