I have a partner and daughter who indulge me in my passion for travel. Whenever I get enough leave and putea, we’re off to explore the world! I love opp shopping and am proud that I have engendered the joys of opp shopping to my daughter Lucy. My other pursuits are walking, getting my hands dirty in the garden, and watching my favourite TV show Kath and Kim, with a cheeky glass of Sauv Blanc.

Ko ahau te Kaiwhakahaere Matua o SociaLink Tūhono Pāpori
Previous to starting as the inaugural General manager of SociaLink eight years ago, I worked in social policy and was the Policy and Planning Manager at the Western Bay of Plenty District Council. Prior to that I was the Health Promotion Manager at Toi Te Ora – Public Health.
I worked for over ten years in adolescent health in Melbourne and was lucky enough to be seconded by World Health Organisation and NZ Aid to work in the Solomon Islands and Manila, Philippines.
I completed a Bachelor of Social Work at Massey University and a Masters of Social Work – Human Services Management at La Trobe University in Melbourne.
I am the Chief Executive of SociaLink Tūhono Pāpori and have the privilege of leading a team of talented and passionate staff who every day do their best to support and empower for-purpose organisations to deliver services to their communities.
I like to call myself a ‘jill of all trades, a master of none’, which I attribute to my low boredom threshold. I thrive in collaborating, identifying and trying out new initiatives in response to the needs of the social and community sector and the ever changing environment the sector operates in.
