I grew up in Tauranga and live in Pahoia on a small lifestyle block with my husband and two kids. I love being outdoors, whether it’s walking local trails or paddleboarding on the harbour. I’m also a keen bargain-hunter who can’t resist an op shop or garage sale. I’m passionate about connecting people to meaningful mahi and helping build strong, connected communities.

My background is in social services and community work. At Katikati Community Centre, I worked with people to connect them with the support they needed, organised community events, and built relationships with local groups. Before that, I co-founded and managed Awhina House, providing transitional housing for homeless women in Tauranga. I have a degree in Communication Studies and worked for a number of years in film and television, behind the scenes on local and international productions.
I lead the Volunteering Services team at SociaLink, working to grow and support volunteering across the Western Bay of Plenty. We help people find meaningful ways to volunteer and work to support community organisations to attract and keep volunteers, helping our communities thrive.
