I’m a big fan of the Bay of Plenty, especially in summer. I enjoy surfing, mountain biking, and camping with my family. We have a three-bedroom house that I cleverly—or perhaps questionably—decided to renovate into a four-bedroom with two bathrooms. Two years later, we’re still living in a construction site!

Originally from South Africa, I moved to New Zealand at the age of 13. After studying engineering in Auckland, I worked in various engineering and management roles. Volunteering has always been a passion of mine, so when an opportunity arose to join a local non-profit in Tauranga as an Operations Manager, I decided to make the shift. I loved the work, and my engineering background brought a unique perspective to the organisation. I became deeply involved in introducing outcomes and creating a measurement framework, which was especially rewarding.
Today, I work part-time as a contractor with SociaLink, helping other organisations define their outcomes and develop frameworks to measure them. I also create dashboards to visually present data for effective communication and insights.
