Outside of work, I enjoy socialising (I have many coffee cards). I relax by reading novels and every time I walk along the wonderful Pāpāmoa beach I feel so grateful to live in such a special place. I love spending time with my five granddaughters of various ages and enjoy watching their personalities develop and independence grow.

Having spent 35 years in senior leadership in the tertiary sector, working for both polytechnics and universities, I have managed multiple student and corporate services, with large teams of staff based nationally and internationally, so I bring a broad range of experiences to my role. Besides being on boards for work, my governance experience comes from various community groups where I have been founder, chair, trustee and member. The groups have changed depending on where I was in my life and what my children were doing, so I’ve been on the Scouts and School Committees to the Institute of Directors and Chamber of Commerce Boards. These days I am a Rotarian and on a Charitable Trust board.
I like to work alongside you and help you to build the capability of your organisation, working at governance, management or operational levels. I can assist you in setting up a new legal entity for your group or help with organisational assessments to see if you are on track with your goals.
