DATA PROJECTS

Helping organisations to gain confidence with data - to collect, analyse and report on their own information and to use external data resources. Data can help demonstrate impact. Service provided by Community Insights - a division of SociaLink.

DISCOUNTS

Business Heroes Directory is a list of businesses that offer support and/or discounts to for-purpose and not-for-profit organisations.

MENTORING

A 6 month programme where new or aspiring leaders are matched with experienced.

ORGANISATIONAL ADVICE

Advisors available to provide one-on-one support for all aspects of the running of your organisation, including governance.

COMMUNITY INSIGHTS

Assisting with collecting and collating data across the sector for community benefit.

NETWORKING

Events and forums to support organisations to connect, learn from each other and grow together.

OPERATIONS (OFFICE) SUPPORT

A highly subsidised support service from a senior operational manager to help with various organisational needs like projects, administration, systems, marketing + websites, policies and more. Purchased in blocks of 20 hours so there's no ongoing commitment.

VOLUNTEERING SERVICES

Assist community organisations to recruit and retain volunteers as well as encourage and promote volunteering.

RESEARCH

Undertake and provide access to research relevant to the community and social service providers.

RESOURCES

DIY tools including templates, guides, videos and links to other great resources.

TRAINING + WORKSHOPS

Professional development training and workshops to learn and develop skills.

Honouring Matariki Through Reflection and Ceremony

SociaLink joined in celebrating Matariki 2025 through a powerful lecture and hautapu ceremony led by Ngairo Eruera. Held at the University of Waikato Tauranga campus and on Moturiki, the events offered a moving opportunity to reflect, remember, and set intentions for the year ahead — honouring te ao Māori and the spirit of connection that Matariki brings.
