Outside work, I enjoy giving back to the community and yes, still volunteer at Waipuna Hospice; there I get to do organising and decluttering which I love doing! My partner and I love to travel around NZ, enjoy amazing landscapes, nature walks, random roadies and always enjoy good food, hunting for new cafés and restaurants.

Made in Sri Lanka, and a Quantity Surveyor by trade (very rusty now), I moved to New Zealand. I have been living in Tauranga since 2018, and decided to change out of my industry to do something that makes me happy. I started volunteering at Waipuna Hospice Op shop and then at Volunteering Bay of Plenty (now Volunteering Services). I moved into a permanent role where I developed an interest in working with systems, which I enjoy.
I look after the Volunteer Management Systems, providing database support while enhancing analytical, data and reporting skills and keen to learn many more.
