Darren Owen, the Board’s Treasurer, is a Chartered Accountant with a broad range of commercial experience.

He started in business advisory at KPMG, and gained international experience through various commercial business partnering roles across London, Dublin and Melbourne. He has a solid financial background and adaptability, along with a passion for using data to think strategically and helping organisations grow.

He is also enthusiastic about technology and digital developments.

He has a young family and is keen to get back into supporting the Tauranga community. He’s currently the Financial Analysis Manager at Classic Group, primarily focused on the land development, while also working on the wider Group’s financial strategies.
