My house is currently home to five cats—some mine and some my mum’s—while we search for a new place to call home! I’m a big fan of staying active. I love exercising, lifting weights at the gym, and playing a bit of tennis to unwind.
I’ve always been passionate about working for non-profits and supporting the amazing work they do in our communities. Right now, I’m enjoying a busy, fulfilling life balancing work, family, and a little bit of chaos at home with my mum, my two teenagers, and five cats!
Before joining SociaLink, I spent 10 years at the Katikati Community Centre, where I developed a deep appreciation for community-focused work. It was there that I first got into the “financial stuff” and decided to pursue a graduate diploma in professional accounting.
For the past two and a half years, I’ve been self-employed in accounting, which I love for the variety and flexibility it offers. Working with different people and organisations has given me valuable insights and strengthened my skills in financial management and problem-solving.
At SociaLink, I focus on helping organisations in the social and community sector thrive. My role allows me to combine my accounting skills with my love for supporting non-profits, ensuring they have the tools and resources they need to make a real difference.
