Not for Profit Governance Forum with Institute of Directors, Bay of Plenty Branch

April 2024

Do you have a trustee on your board interested in developing their governance understanding and commitment to best governance practice?

A new series of quarterly luncheon forums have been established by Institute of Directors to support trustees and directors in their NFP board role. Members are capped at 30 people to encourage open discussion under Chatham house rule.

TECT has provided funding to make this event free for one of your trustees to attend.

By having the same group of people, preferably from separate NFP boards, commit to attending all sessions, there is further opportunity to grow relations, connections and networks for continued learnings and future collaborations. There will be an assortment of guest speakers, resources, case studies and articles spread out over each forum, to develop this knowledge. This is a unique opportunity to hear from some experienced directors and fellow attendees, and in turn utilise this information to strengthen your governance understanding and practices in your boardroom.

Interested in attending?
The first forum will be held on April 27th from 12pm – 1.30pm.

We have guest speaker, Peter Withers joining us to speak on Strategic planning. A light lunch and refreshments will be served.

If you are interested in joining the NFP Governance forums, please RSVP here by April 16th, to ensure your place for this opportunity.
