Life When Renting is New Zealand’s first research programme to explore the implications of declining home ownership, and the rising number of people who will reach retirement as renters.
To mark the mid-term of the project, a research summit will be held on Tuesday the 30thof May in Tauranga.
The Summit will include presentations about the research findings so far, as well as an opportunity to talk with the researchers, older people and others involved in working with and supporting older people in making housing choices and ageing well. Further information is included on the Mid-term Summit programme attached.
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch. To RSVP please contact Ruth at CRESA on freephone 0508 427372 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Summit is free to attend. For those who are based outside the region, and are without organisational support, we do have limited funding available to assist with travel. Contact Ruth about this option.
This research is funded through the public good Ageing Well National Science Challenge. For more information about the research programme and to access some of the reports that have been prepared so far, please see the programme website www.renting.goodhomes.co.nz
