Leadership training is absolutely critical to the success of your organisation. If you are ready and willing to change and prepared to commit time, then this programme is for you.
SociaLink has designed a programme for social sector organisations in the Western Bay of Plenty to support you to take the first steps toward developing your leadership potential.
- Work on your strengths to uncover and refine your natural talents.
- Learn the principles of leadership
- Learn to drive results
- Learn & practice effective communication and presentation skills
- Build emotional intelligence and trust
And much much more.
Using a range of assessment tools, your key characteristics, strengths and weaknesses will be identified in Stage 1 – the Discovery Stage. This will give a better understanding of your own style and of potential areas for development.
Stage 2 The programme will kickstart with an interactive and practical training day that will set the programme up for you to learn vital management and leadership skills to help lead your organisation into the future by developing culture and people.
You will meet your fellow participants with whom you will work and share learnings, problems and solutions.
This day will be followed by 3 quarterly ½ day sessions where you will build on your knowledge and set up goals and accountability sessions where you will support one another to achieve new levels.
Stage 3 – Review and follow up. An individual formal review of key learnings, goals and achievements, and other opportunities for further work which will enable the participant to develop a further plan for development in the future.
